I had the post recently about not being able to track an older Cerveny serial. On many of the older horns, the serial number is on the bar that mounts the valve spatulas and not on the valves or the body of the horn. As these parts were made at inconsistent times in the manufacturing process, there's no clear way to link them to more than a rough time frame. They also told me that they did not maintain a catalog of the old ABB and ACB numbers, although they were keeping up with the CCB and CBB numbers currently. In my case, I was able to find the first owner of the horn, and he should be able to tell me when it was first bought.
