There are different kinds of bodies....my (ex) husband is a slow twitch kind of guy. We would go on a ski trip, and the first day I'd be in seventh heaven, flying down the hill, and he'd be trying to figure out how to keep his balance. On the 2nd day, I'd be tired and having to be careful, and he'd just about be warmed up. The 3rd day, I'd have to stay on the bunny hill if I didn't want to kill myself, and he'd be in seventh heaven, flying down the hill. This happened on every ski trip.

So, what you said: different strokes. If you're a slow-twitch type, just go ahead and play for your hour and a half. Let us fast twitch types walk in and play with a five-minute warmup.
