Anyway, if you'll consider the Gronitz PCK, you may not have to wait until "someday". It's a tremendous BAT for 6K, I think. I played it along side Tony Clements' Yorkbrunner (and Tony has a good one!). While I did like Tony's Yorkbrunner a wee bit better, the difference was not very much at all. In fact, I think that the tone is a bit darker on the PCK. It blows very freely; there are no funny or squirrly notes of any kind; and the tuning seemed real good, although I didn't take the time to mess around with a tuner. If interested, look up Tony at Lowbrass Werks. I'm considering that horn myself, even though I wasn't looking for a BAT. I'll freely admit that I don't have a lot of experience messing around with BATs, but I did get to hear Tony play on it for a good hour or so, while we played duets.
