Even though I wasn't as enamored with this horn as some others, the low register on it was easy to play. I can't say how it sounds out front, but the notes are accessible.
Small bore doesn't necessarily inhibit low register. Remember that the bore on the Yamaha F tuba is about the same as this King, and those low notes pop out with little trouble.
