Tracy, mouthpiece weights are similar in concept to my monsterweights, but in my experience not as effective. I tried making one, but found them not nearly as effective as placing extra weights on the valves themselves. I wish they did work, because they sre a lot easier to make and install.
I find adding weights to a mouthpiece hurts the flexability of the horn, which I have not noticed with monsterweights.
