My tone is beautiful, but I do notice that I have the same problem. I really have tried to use less pressure but my tone will go down the tubes, it's almost as the seal gets broken between the lips and mouthpiece and I can't sustain even a quarter note!!! What is the best way to fix this problem? And technically, how much pressure should one use especially in the upper register, where at times I even wonder if I'll push my head through the mouthpiece?
