So I was half-watching my late local news here in Knoxvegas, TN last night, when I heard the word tuba. So I immediately perked up to see the graphic "Lahti, Finland". Lo and behold there is a massed throng of tubas and euphs playing harborside, and sounding very good, indeed. Also someone that looked like Velvet Brown. I couldn't identify anyone else, 'cause their bells were in the way.
Nice to see our instrument get some good press at sometime other than Christmas...
Hopefuly it will be more than a little East Tennessee NBC affiliate that picks up some of ITEC next year.
