The currently-available BBb tubas that I've been the most impressed with have been a large Hirsbrunner rotary model (don't remember the model #, but if I clicked over to the HB website I would recognize it), a Willson (could sell 'em - haven't sold one yet - like 'em - you sell 'em, don't you?), and the big RM.

Those are my choices of BBb's that do what I think BBb's should do.

The King - well, they haven't yet gone into production of the new "short" model, have they? I'm not standing by the "old standard" detach-bell model as "pro".

The Getzen - played one when I was a Getzen dealer...just didn't like it.

The Miraphone - OK, but reminds me of a 188-CC. I had a nice 188-CC. ' liked it OK but not well enough...sold it.

Why so itchy?

I don't care if you know WHO's opinion these are. Why do YOU care?
