Yes. I agree that the professional tuba community is wonderful. I am very glad there are people like David Fedderly in the world to email BBS posters about gunky valves on their CB50 (that was me). David, you're my first call when I am thinking about a new horn.
It takes a certain kind of person to play the tuba. You have to be "young enough to still want to play it and old enough to hold it". Guess who said that? :-)
