With my King 2350 the horn is positioned so that the neck angles to the left (if facing someone playing the horn) and the valve section is resting just about center my torso . . . this causes the bell to be right above my head causing a "faux" line of symmetry from top of bell to bottom of my feet. Probably the same as you've said, but if different. . .then different. My section uses it effectively with no problems...
