Some things never change. Summer band in the heat 40 years ago was just as hot and the sousas were just as heavy. Drink water (they used to give us salt pills), flex one or both knees and gut it up.
Ask how many pros, both freelance, solo, orchestral and small ensemble, marched in high school or college. Nothing wimpy about the sport!!!
