I heard Patrick Sheridan say that he studied (listened to) Whitney Houston vibrato's. I think this is the key. Have a sound concept (from listening to singers and other euph CD's like Bowman or Mead, etc), find out the technique that your favorite euph player uses, and then work at it. It would really be great to hire a pro for a few lessons here too since it is all too easy to develop bad habits when it comes to vibrato.
