The opposite of "stiff" might be the very early versions of the 2165 (MW-B.A.T.). Those were so resistance-free that they reminded me of kazoos...' didn't offer me enough control without practicing on that instrument several hours each day to constantly "remind" the player of just how much "false" resistance is required on each note at various volume levels to achieve control.

ie: opposite of "stiff" = "free-blowing"...The ideal is "balance", as it is sensed by the INDIVIDUAL player.
