Heh, heh, I didn't notice that he was a teasipper. While being exposed to BQ's might drive the music from just about anyone, I'd be willing to bet that if Texas A&M does indeed have a music school, not too many BQ's are in it. The Fightin' Texas Aggie Band was more about tradition and fraternity, with music ranking low on the priority list, well behind beer-drinking and boot polishing. When I was there, a few superb musicians did wear Corps uniforms, but most of the members of the A&M Symphonic Band were non-regs like myself. And THAT was a good group. I was fourth chair of four, and the other three tubists were all-staters in high school.
