Don't go with the Sear and Waldeck. It doesn't give you a clear picture of anything (tiny little excerpts, sometimes a little snippet of an important part, sometimes leaving out some important parts), and you will find mistakes. The notation of the parts is sometimes screwy as compared to the original. I use the Torchinsky books or actually buy the original tuba part alone. Theres a reason why the Sear and Waldeck is so cheap.
