Thank you Mark for posting this article. It was very interesting. It gave me a new outlook on my furture. I am a High School student who just made the switch to a CC tuba. I am planning on going to college to major in music. I'm in a brass quintet and I hope I get the desired sound when I play with everyone else. I haven't had a chance to play with anyone from our quintet yet but I'm looking forward to it. I was planning on using my CC tuba for college auditions because of the quality of tone I get from it. I still play a BBb tuba once in a while though. Overall I just enjoy playing a CC more than a BBb
