I'm extremely fond of my alteri bag for my Rudy 5/4 simply because the thing is heavy and the alteri bag sits a bit higher on the back. If your not planning on carrying it far this might not be a consideration, also depends on your height. I use a trum-core mute in it also and am very happy with it. Those adjustable R and S mutes are real dogs, like playing through jello. The trum-core is a bit more expensive but it is reall y a pro mute. For such a nice horn I wanted a nice muute, otherwise I'd shove a pillow in the bell.
