this is a good opportunity to learn to think in C fingering. Make a set of flash cards (using the Bb treble clef trumpet fingering chart) for your self with the note on the staff with the treble clef on one side and the note name and fingering on the other. Practice reading the note on the staff and trying to say and finger and play the note and then turn over the card to see if you are correct. You will slowly develop your memory that written middle C on the treble clef staff is played open and sounds middle Bb on a Bb tuba. etc etc for all the notes. Then find any beginning trumpet book and start to play the etudes. do not do not do not write fingering in your music. It will certainly slow down your ability to read and learn the clef.

P.S. If you ever find your self at a later date wanting to buy a C tuba, you will be able to look at bass clef music, see a written middle C on the tuba part and play middle C open.
