Jaw vibrato never seemed natural to me, but I naturally have a very comfortable Diaphram Vibrato. I have had hundreds of of compliments on it in my life (never a complaint) and even used it when I played a little Bari Sax in College. The sax instructor said it was the only time he ever heard Diaphram vibrato sound good on a sax.
I understand what Jay is saying about the pontential of diaphram vibrato being bad if done wrong, but the same can be said about using the jaw. For some, jaw vibrato can disturb the stability of the embouchure.
My rule of thumb is, is one method comes very natural, and the other seems very strange, you can probably make the best one work for you.
