Read your comments on the King intonation. About the only problems I have are most 1-2 combination fingerings are a little sharp but it doesn't take a lot of pull to compensate.
D and C in the staff are flat, but C can be lipped up and using an alt fingering for D takes care of that easily. The reason I use the Conn Helleburg and 7B is I get a darker tone with the Helleburg for large groups and the 7b gives me a lighter tone for small ensembles and jazz stuff.
It is a good horn, especially for the price. Got mine for $600 at a tuba sale.
