I think you should definitely try the Weril. I recently bought one in BBb to use for travelling, and I like it a lot. It's the same size and bore as the Yamaha 620 series, but the valve placement is much more comfortable. The mouthpiece receiver is set a little bit lower than I would like (I am 5' 11") but it works for me if I rest the horn on my right leg instead of my crotch, or if I cross my legs. I think it would be very comfortable for a smaller musician. And you can't beat the price!
