The best stuff that I've found is Zebco fishing reel oil (no kidding). It comes in a little needle-point tube that makes it easy to get into all the nooks and crannies. You can get it in the sporting goods section of Wal-Mart for about $2 a tube. BTW, Zebco fishing reel grease makes great slide grease!
