"Blue Bells" like "Carnival of Venice" was a popular theme for air-and-variations during the 19th century. For trombone and euph, the Arthur Pryor version is probably the one most performed. But I've posted an 1880's version by John Hartmann on my website along with his "Carnival of Venice" (this is the version that Herbert L. Clarke references in his autobiography). See below:
