Right on, Klaus. My suggestion should only be considered a last resort if nothing can be found, or maybe if a "normal" tuba mouthpiece is too big to sound good on the horn.

A former roommate of mine had acquired a curious tiny Eb tuba that was no bigger than a euphonium (yes, TINY), and fortunately included a mouthpiece of its own. For the life of me, though, I can't remember if any other mouthpiece fit in the receiver. However, it did make things interesting for me when I played on it during drum major auditions rather than my big BBb or the King sousie.

I would take Klaus's suggestion first, as it will probably work better.
