This maybe because I am only 22 but I have no problem switching from my Shilke HellebergII mouthpiece and my tenor trombone 6 1/2 AL and my Bach 3C Trumpet mouthpiece. Granted I do not play trumpet professionally but I do teach trumpet and trombone. I have picked up a few gigs on trombone and I have had no problems going back and forth between tuba and trombone.
