I was wondering what the overall impression of the Bell model CC's is. I may be in the market shortly for a 3/4 size CC. I am looking for something with 5 valves, but four will do in a pinch (or for the right price), but I don't really want a cerveny and I don't want to pay alot of money, cause I'm cheap. I already own a CC tuba but just want a "beater" type of a horn to just throw in the trunk of my car to teach lessons or do fast gigs. Every once in a while a Bell model CC shows up for not to bad of a price. But I have never played any Bell model new or old. I know the bore is small, but many times that doesn't make that big of a difference. I just want an overall impresion of this style of horn.
Also, to ramble some more, has anyone played one of the new King CC's. If so what size is it and what is the general impression of that horn? I love the old 2341 BBb warhorse and if this tuba is decent it may also picque my interest.
Thanks for your repsonses in advance.

P.S. When is the trend back toward small horns going to start?
