Does anyone have any input about the viability of using such products as the one depicted in this site? I just bought a shiny, shiny raw brass tuba, and would rather have the deep patina (and protection) of an older horn, but I certainly wouldn't want to damage my instrument.
This was just an idea off the top of my head -- feel free to do with it what you will.
