I had a previous post where I mentioned I was recording my audition on tape because I live in Japan. I want to know about recording Walter S. Hartely's "Unaccompanied Suite for Tuba." I know it's sort of cheating and not fair doing a recorded audition on tape for the other auditioners, but I was wondering if it would be pushing it if I recorded each of the 4 movements sepratley. Because if not, if I'm doing it all at once, I could be doing great and on the last (4th) movement I could just totally bomb it and I'll throw my tuba on the cieling and scream at the recording microphone "YOU SUCK, YOU SUCK, YOU SUCK!" on a good day. Pardon my Spanish. Just to brighten up this message. So I would highly appreciate any professinal opinions. Especially for you teachers and tuba professors. Thank you.
