The C, B, and Bb (4, 24, 54) aren't too bad on my MW 182 F tuba. They do, however, use a lot more air than notes higher (or lower) on the instrument. The A (below staff) on most F tubas is best fingered 234. All tubas, especially F tubas, have their unique quirks. I am sorry to say it, but you will just have to get used to playing with a few alternate fingerings. Don't worry, it gets easier with time.
