There is only one slide that counts, and that's the main tuning slide. Pushing valve-branch slides in only helps the notes that use that valve.

The Kings I've seen seemed to tune pretty well with the main tuning slide out about 3/4". That's 1-1/2" total, and you added two inches to the leadpipe, so it should be a little flat.

The only solution if you want to keep the leadpipe arrangement is to shorten the main tuning slide. An inch (which gives you two inches of tubing) should do it and still leave some adjustment room.
