a Mirafone C4 was my F tuba mouthpiece for years until I got the Bobo Symphonic. One of the main reasons I switched to the Bobo was because my C4 was fairly beat up. They're really quite similar. Anything a whole lot smaller than the C4/Bobo Sym. size is too bright for me.

I pick my F tuba mouthpiece by what I think sounds good, not by what's stamped on the cup. Same with my C tuba mouthpiece. The salesman doesn't have any idea what he's talking about.
