Just thought I would let anyone playing the miraphone 1258 euphonium that Bill Gibson at wwbw helped me fix the noisy piston springs. I could never get them perfectly aligned to get rid of the noise. They seemed to rattle on the side of the casing. Anyway, he sent a set of coated springs from yamaha that work perfectly. No more rattle noise, and the alignment is much easier. They only cost about $8.00. Money well spent.
