Do you know why Mr. Deck went to Aspen? I mean, why would anyone give up the New York Phil and Juliard for Aspen? What is in Aspen that could top that? I saw in the AFM that the tuba chair is open... but I am frazzelled as to why someone would choose to leave such a post.
