Wow. I did mean it only partly in jest, but your story shows how painfully close the truth comes to comedy in these times.
Your story should be a warning to any of our musical brethern who might be contemplating a visit to the USA; get your papers in order and get your story straight. Otherwise, you could find yourself in a jail cell, incommunicado, awaiting deportation without access to an attorney or any right of habeus corpus.
What's funny is that I don't feel any more secure since these small minds were unleashed with the mission of providing "Homeland Security".
