I use these excerpts and sell them. It is quite the collection of around 7000 pages. It is great having all trombone and tuba parts as you can do sectional rehersals easily. Also the Strauss Tenor Tuba parts are transposed.

As far as editions, yes there are times when it may be a different edition than what some orchestra may play. It is not really worth it to put in multiple editions of a symphony. There are markings on most parts - most of these probably came from various symphony libraries. There are some new parts that have no markings.

I have brought this to many shows since January. Symphony players snatch them up, they think it's worth $89. I invested a couple hundred bucks in excerpt books and don't think I'll use most of them since I have this. If you are serious about playing in an orchestra, buy it. At $89 it is a bargain and Gordon Cherry even includes updates.
