What can I say folks, I like my St. Pete and have since I pulled it out of the box.
It sounds great and I don't have to play trombone with my slides like the Mirafone
player who sits next to me ( although I could, they move quite freely). I am in tune,
and frankly I like the valve linkages better on my horn than a new miraphone one tuba removed in the band. We have two St. Petes two Miraphones and a Yamaha and quite possibly
the best tuba section in the country. Of course we do listen across the section.
What a concept!!
It all comes down to how you play what you got.
So keep on trashing St. Petes and I will keep on playing mine.
