I think it depends on what kind of horn you have now. If it's a BBb that doesn't center terribly easily, then playing a great CC will certainly make things better. I find CC tubas respond a little quicker than BBb, and I find I can make them dance better than a BBb. I do, however, like the King tuba. It's one of the few BBb tubas that I would rank up there with the better CC tubas for responce and quickness.
