It took me three months to even start to get used to F tuba fingerings, and a solid year before I was really comfortable on it. Some people have brains that do this without even knowing how, and others (like me) have to completely retrain our reflexes to press the right buttons. I may do it wrong, but I do it like a do it, and I'd doubt that changing my approach would be profitable at this late stage.
