I have owned my G50 for about 3 years. I purchased it from David Fedderly, Baltimore Brass. I am not an accomplished tuba player, but I really enjoy this horn. The horn is almost perfectly in tune and does not require any slide pulling. I play it as a CC horn and I think it is a bit stuffier on the BBb side. I've used it in a band, quintet and solo work. The notes speak very easily and it doesn't required a massive amount of air.
David is a true professional musician and businessman. I have purchased three tubas from him. He listens to my needs, tells me honestly what horn will work best and gives me a fair deal. If I buy another tuba, I will give David a call first.
