I've played a St. Pete for the past 3 years and I would definitely look into something else. The metal is thin and prone to denting; the nickel begins to flake off in some areas, while fading in other areas. I understand that the rotar links are better made on the newer ones, but they've broken several times on the one I currently play on (long wait for those parts). The horn plays decently; well, to put it lightly, I've never played another BBb horn that has played worse than the St. Pete. If I were you, I would look into one of the other horns mentioned above, or wait a little longer, make a little more money, and get a costlier BBb. Goodluck!
