I'd have to second the opinion on the Meinl Westons. I had a 2145 for about 3 years, and it was a terrific horn. I wish that I wasn't compelled to sell it, but I purchased a Yamaha 822 F, which can do much of what the 2145 could at the same level, except for the lower register between C below the staff and down to pedal F. The 2145 is, of course, just much more solid in there.

But, in a perfect world, I'd have kept the 2145 (it had to go to make room financially for a larger CC, ) own the 822 and a large CC. There isn't much that the 2145 couldn't do, except for the most demanding large scale operations (presumably covered by your BAT.) The intonation was terrific except for maybe 2 notes (low Db and G in the staff, if I recall.) Give one a try, you'll probably love it.

Benjamin
