If there is sight-reading involved, there is an "All-State" (not any particular state, just part of the name of the book) sightreading book for about $13 (??) available for all instruments...very helpful.
You should play your prepared material for as many fine euphonium players as will listen - whether in a formal lesson situation or not.
Practice intelligently for three hours each day, and always use a tuner and metronome.
Start tearing into the Rochut and technical etude books TODAY in preparation for next year's audition.
