I suppose, the name Bohland & Fuchs was stenciled here without being a real B. & F. in this case, since there is not the registered trade mark with that anchor between B and F. Also the script is different, and the city name (Graslitz or Kraslice) is missing.
This tuba is completely different from the ones in my old Bohland & Fuchs catalogs.
I suppose the name was misused after the war. The factory was closed between 1945 and 48.
As far as I know, "Lignatone" (the 2nd brandname on this auction tuba) was used as Cerveny's 2nd or 3rd line instruments. This one does not even have German silver slides.
