Hey Rod! Yeah, I miss Tommy's Burgers. We always used to preface a trip to Tommy's by simply saying, "Let's go get some sh**!" Another great LA place along those lines was Carney's in Hollywood, if I remember correctly. You could get great chili cheeseburgers and dogs and the restaurant was an old train car. And, of course, In & Out was always a favorite. Also, Topps Burgers in Pasadena. Nothing like a big ole burger topped with pastrami!
