Ian, I think some people were confused earlier by your use of the word 'pitch' to describe what I might refer to as, 'apparant pitch through resultant harmonic'. There has to be a 'base pitch' on which to build these harmonics, if I'm not mistaken, hence the confusion.
Either way I don't doubt that this technique is possible and I am quite intrigued. Let us know if you get the .mp3 file up.
