I own a B&S PT22, it plays beautifully. I don't feel the low register is stuffy at all. There was some funky tuning going on but I had two of the slides cut and that took care of most of the problems. True, they need to make these corrections before selling the horn but the potential for this horn once the corrections are made should make it one of the leading Eb's out there. I like it's sound over the Besson horns, having have played them side by side with other people listening. I will actually be playing mine on a my masters recital next weekend..... telemann fantasia No.2, Plog 3 miniatures and blue bells of scotland..... the rest is all on my CC
