I tried for about a month, did the cleaning, the wiping, etc.. I really wanted Binak to work but it just didn't for me. During a rehersal (thankfully) one of my valves went dry and needed more but I had the problem that one drop wasn't enough and two would make the valves really sluggish until it wore a little thinner. That was the last straw. Hetman's is a lot more forgiving. Too much doesn't make the valves sluggish and you don't need to wipe before reapplying, etc. But these were "fussy" yamaha piston valves (see previous post).
