If you don't mind the dependent rotor setup (I happen to prefer it) the 1062 is a very responsive, fine sounding, well-built bass 'bone. I have played three and they were all good horns with good slides. I would call them a little less free-blowing than a Bach, but somewhat quicker responding. My opinion only, but I think you would be very hard-pressed to notice the difference all those extra dollars for an Edwards would buy you.
