Hey there Rick,

That is great info on the old vs. less old. I happen to have two York Master Eb tubas. One is a bell up top action and the other is front action recording bell. They were made in the 60's abd play pretty much the same. I wondered if you have any info on those and any thoughts on what they might be worth. They both are in good playing shape and very few dents but the lacquer is bad on both. I am considering selling them because I am a dislocated airline worker and the extra funds would help right now.

The funny thing about these two horns is that they have a tremendous low register even with three valves they play easily the pedal A natural and I can almost hit a double pedal Eb on a 12lb little Eb tuba.

Any info on these opinions/value would be great.

Thanks,

Jim
