I am going to be having an arrangement of Carnival of Venice recorded and submitted to the Tuba and Euphonium press this summer, and was curious on anyone who has done this before on what kinds of things they look for in arrangements. I'm also currently working on an arrangement of March Slave, and Mussorgsky's Night on Bald Mountain. Both composers are out of copyright so I'm ok to have these published, as I ran into problems with an arrangement of the Sabre Dance and had to remove it off of my publishing site because he's only been dead for aroun 30 years. Anyway, I'd appreciate any advice someone with experience can give me on this. If you want to see some of my arrangements, please visit my sibeliusmusic homepage below. Thanks.
